![]() Jan-Feb 2008 Issue The Glendoran has always been, and will remain, a family-oriented magazine with an emphasis on the history of our fair community. We are not just a news magazine, nor are we primarily an advertising-only vehicle. We spend more time researching and writing stories of interest and going in-depth where we are able. One particular focus of the Glendoran is to contrast the the "roots" of our community with the conditions of today and to keep our readership informed about where they came from and how historical events have shaped our present-day reality. Our writing staff is supplemented by qualified members of the community that write articles and contribute them to us that are relevant and well written and meet our requirements.Submission does not automatically mean the article WILL be published. Also, we reserve the right to edit, shorten, publish over multiple issues, assign or create artwork to accompany as well as other editorial decisions.Any content deemed unpublishable for any reason will be returned to the person that submitted it. All editorial decisions are expressly the domain of the Glendoran editorial staff. The Glendoran magazine reserves the right to exclude any content, editorial or advertising, that is deemed objectionable in any way, period. Here are some of the things we DO NOT publish... Editorial: • Stories based on conjecture or rumor • Content deemed adult-oriented or otherwise unsuitable for our readership • Stories or pictures that are demeaning in any way • Fiction represented as fact Advertising: • We do not publish coupons or anything else that encourages readers to cut up the magazine • Advertising of an adult or offensive nature |
